At the end of hand 2, you can endplay West if he has honour doubleton in Diamonds - rise with Ace and duck the next round if he doesn’t unblock, but cross to dummy and lead them again if he does. I think this is quite likely to work given the carding.
Also, on hand 8 it is not crazy to play West for the SJ given East as a passed hand has turned up with CAKQJx
