I’m struggling a little with my routines. I’m blaming the gym, but at least I’ve been going there consistently. The class I’m taking is Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30. That falls during my normal time to be reading and starting my bridge work for the day. I don’t like to have a pot of tea and then go work out. (Learned that one the hard way!) So I’ve actually been sleeping in an extra half an hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays—until 6:30—doing my meditation, and then heading out to exercise. The intention is always to do the reading and VuGraph work later, but it doesn’t always happen. Maybe I need to wake up earlier and just get it all done before I go to the gym. I’m very open to suggestions.
My schedule and Greg’s still haven’t synced up, so we haven’t done our notes review yet. We need to get that done, so finding time for that next week is a priority.
My friend Ankur—of Spingold fill-in fame—was in town this week for work, so we went out on Thursday and Friday. It’s always nice to get to share the city with a friend from out of town.
Have a great week!

I can relate to your dilemma; there are several things it's "best" / ideal to do first thing in the morning: meditate/pray, exercise, write/practice/creative pursuits. Obviously unless you get up at like 4am you're probably not going to be able to do all 3 "first thing in the morning" every day.
Best suggestion I can offer is on the days when you are making the commitment to go to the gym at 7:30, pick another designated time to do your bridge work / VuGraph and hold yourself to it in a non-negotiable way, the same way that the gym's class time is fixed.
Maybe better to exercise on your own a bit later?
