It was another slow week on Cape Cod. My sister and her family left on Saturday, so things have quieted down significantly. I’m hoping that means I’ll get some more work done this week. I spent a lot of time with my niece and nephew during their last days here, which meant not a lot of bridge—other than playing with them, which they’re still loving. Greg has been travelling, so our work has been limited to Cuebids.
I finished the novel I was reading, so I can do some more bridge reading now. I’ve been playing in some robot games on Shark.
Greg and I did commentary of a great Bermuda Bowl match on Sunday—two of the favorites: USA1 and Switzerland. You can check out the video on YouTube.
The knockout phase starts on Tuesday, and I’m planning to stream the last segment—which starts at 11:15 ET—every day. You can watch on Twitch or on YouTube.
A reminder that club qualifying for the NAP ends August 31. If you haven’t qualified yet, check the schedule at your local club and/or the virtual clubs on BBO and find an NAP qualifier game. (Greg and I qualified this weekend!)
A subscriber sent this article my way this week. Just being in nature increases your attention span! I love it when you share things like this with me, and I can forward them on to the rest of the community!!
Have a great week!
